UNESCO chair on Environmental Education with the help of “Environmental Education and Sustainable Development Institute in Payame Noor University” will hold an online meeting of “Persian Gulf: An ecosphere, a place full of opportunities for participation” and in need of protection” in celebration of the Persian Gulf national day.

In the middle of 2021, according to the positive assessment of United Nations Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) of the activities of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education of Payam Noor University for the past 4 years, this organization, in a letter dated June 24, 2021, while appreciating the activities carried out has extended the Agreement of this chair for the next 4 years until April 2025 under the chairmanship of Prof. Seyed Mohammad Shobeiri.
