Workshop on Social Responsibility towards Construction Waste

The workshop was organized with the scientific support of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education on 5 December 2018, on the sidelines of the first International Exhibition on Waste Management, Recycling, and the Related Machinery and Equipment, held at Shahre-Aftab International Exhibition Center in Tehran. The General Manager of Yazd Provincial Government presented the workshop. It provided an opportunity for the participants to exchange ideas and learn about the following subjects:

• Issues related to construction waste, their disposal methods and their impact on the environment
• The importance of the construction industry
• Building depreciation and destruction methods in Iran
• Guidelines for waste reduction management in Iran
