Workshop on Waste Management and Solving Environmental Problems in Industrial Animal Husbandry through Using Biogas and Industrial Refinery

The workshop was held with the scientific support of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education on 5 December 2018, on the sidelines of the first International Exhibition on Waste Management, Recycling, and the Related Machinery and Equipment, held at Shahre-Aftab International Exhibition Center in Tehran. The workshop was instructed by the Sales and Marketing Manager of Aria Waste Management and New Energy Development Company and Mr. Chang Xiaoxi (Sales Manager of the Overseas Department). The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the following subjects:

• Biogas global concepts
• Biogas as a renewable energy source
• Heating value of biogas, which is about two-and-a-half times more than the heat generated by the burning of livestock excreta
• Role of animal husbandry in the production of agricultural fertilizer
