Meeting on Biodiversity / Call for fighting the increasing extinction of species and degradation of nature (on the occasion of the World Environment Week)

On the occasion of the World Environment Week, this meeting was held with the aim of examining the status of biodiversity in Iran and the world.  This meeting was held through LMS virtual system and Ms. Shahed Shoaei, Senior specialist of Environmental Education and member of the UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education, was moderator of the event. The topics of the meeting included concepts and principles of biodiversity, characteristics and values ​​of biodiversity, human impact on biodiversity and practical solutions to reduce the risks. At the end of the meeting, a question and answer session was held.
