Specialized Meeting on Social Pathology toward the Environment and its issues in Iran

The specialized meeting was held on 25 August 2018 at Payame Noor University. The meeting was organized in line with the objectives of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education. A group of officials from the Solid Waste Management Organization of Tehran Municipality attended the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to promote the practical use of scientific researches on waste management and to stop overspending and losses of national funds. The participants presented the results of pathological research on waste management in 11 provinces of Iran and introduced the executive strategies implemented by the Solid Waste Management in some regions of Tehran. The meeting continued with question and answer session and attendees discussed the methods of public participation and experiences in the aforementioned fields.
