Workshop on Techniques and Tools of Risk Identification Assessment

The workshop was organized with the scientific support of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education on 5 December 2018, on the sidelines of the first International Exhibition on Waste Management, Recycling, and the Related Machinery and Equipment, held at Shahre-Aftab International Exhibition Center in Tehran. Head of the HSEE Working Group of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education presented this workshop. The objective of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the concepts of risk assessment, risk identification and risk assessment methods, hazard identification methodologies (Hazled, PHA, JHA, FTA, ETA, HAZOP, FMEA, PEM), assessment of risk reduction measures, scoring and prioritizing risks, and practical examples of risk identification and assessment processes.
