Workshop on Circular Economy and Waste Management-

The workshop was held with the scientific support of UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education on 7 December 2018, on the sidelines of the first International Exhibition on Waste Management, Recycling, and the Related Machinery and Equipment, held at Shahre-Aftab International Exhibition Center in Tehran. Head of the Center for the Development of Biomass Energy Technologies (Niroo Research Institute) instructed the workshop. The topics addressed by the workshop are:

• Development and complexity of the economic system
• Waste management legal framework and law, saving and economic efficiency
• Concept of side costs
• Policy making in the public domain
• Volunteer organizations and private markets
