Workshop on “new methods of environmental education for children "for kindergarten teachers in Kahrizak Charity Sanatorium"

nitially a training package entitled "New methods of environmental education for children" was developed for kindergarten teachers by the UNESCO Chair on Environmental Education, in cooperation with Mehregan Research Institute. This 4-hour workshop was held for teachers and mangers of kindergarten of Kahrizak Charity Sanatorium for the Elderly and Disabled. The goals of the workshop were:

• Familiarity with environmental education, its history and discipline in Iran and the world
• Familiarity with new methods of behavioral training
• Practicing games - teaching children
• Familiarity with methods of using natural elements and using these methods in environmental education plans
